Charlie Reeds, Managing Partners , Globalgoals
Buyouts East Speaker

Charlie Reeds one of the managing partners of Globalgoals is projecting urgency during this next 24 month period ahead whereby both LPs and many GPs may increase the valuation of their portfolios by layering on proprietary brand leadership in online platforms and other strategic innovation, that have had exponential growth in the last five years. He further adds that the deep strategic investment thesis is now necessary when evaluating any new investment in the next 24 months to prevent owners LPs and GPs from getting hurt by potential devaluation in the cycle ahead.

Globalgoals focuses on co-investment in the upper middle market $400 million and up revenue focus and lower middle market with a range of co-investment partners who invest in companies whose revenues range from $10 - $150 million in revenue and brings forward family office co-investment participation. Globalgoals is also known to add value by bringing portfolio companies into the 21st century.

Globalgoals helps owners, GPs and LPs layer proprietary innovation and strategic global and national brand leadership onto their portfolio companies to arrive at greater IRR and in getting a company ready for sale in the next 24 months. The result is a greater IRR and return on investment and Globalgoals provides a major relevant part of a GPs and LPs toolbox ďPrepping Companies For HarvestĒwhen getting a company ready for sale in 2014 and 2015. Understanding fund economics, the model is a perfect way to increase the valuation for GP partners and LP partners and increase exit value of companies and can be layered and applied in as little a runway as 6 months. This potential increase in IRR on top of what co-investment partners are already doing is being discovered and applauded by a gradually growing group of LPs and GPs.

Globalgoals also adds value with a growing stable of middle market CEOs whose expertise creates growth thesis for long term sustainable growth in multiple cross industries and sectors. Charlie is known as a thought leader and luminary in leveraging innovation onto and into already established companies and believes that this new more conservative model and approach to innovation will bring greater returns and stability to LPs and GPs in the decades ahead. As more S&P 500 develop their innovation initiatives then middle market GPs and their LPs also must do so. Charlie is best known for his historic analysis of the Paramount Merger and work on the original Time Warner merger and is known for his conservative financial perspective regarding the use of minority capital for strategic industry growth and growth and stability by keeping leverage to a minimum. He is also known for his work presenting three Presidents of the United States and other leaders with the Global Leadership Honorarium and was an early pioneer in global economic thought and innovation.
