Andrew Parrillo, President, Newport Capital Advisers, inc.

Andrew Parrillo founded Newport Capital Advisers, Inc. in 1995 as a registered investment adviser to provide discretionary, chief investment officer and consultative investment services to endowment funds and family offices. The firm’s primary activity is research of all asset categories and investment managers that it can apply to implement tailored investment strategies for its clients. Hedge funds have been a significant allocation in client portfolios since 1995. Although the firm has engaged strategies from firms of all sizes, it has been especially interested in engaging firms in their early stages and those particularly mindful of the risks of asset and personnel growth.

Mr. Parrillo regularly speaks about investment manager selection at various national investment conferences. Early in his investment career he managed the Trust Investment Division’s Retirement Investment Department and was a member of the Investment Policy Committee at Fleet National Bank. Before founding Newport Capital Advisers he was a Senior Vice President of Wellesley Group, Inc. where he advised endowment funds and family offices on asset allocation and investment manager selection.

He is a graduate of Boston University and served as a U.S. Air Force Captain and Senior Navigator.

Alan Patricof, Founder, Managing Director, Greycroft LLC

Alan Patricof is the founder and managing director of Greycroft LLC. A longtime innovator and advocate for venture capital, Alan entered the industry in its formative days with the creation of Patricof & Co. Ventures Inc., a predecessor to Apax Partners – today, one of the world’s leading private equity firms with over $41 billion under management. He stepped back from the daily administration and operational aspects of Apax Partners, LP in 2004 to concentrate on a group of small venture deals on its behalf, before forming Greycroft Partners in 2006.

With a 40-plus year career in venture capital, Alan has been instrumental in growing the venture capital field from a base of high net-worth individuals to its position today with broad institutional backing, as well as playing a key role in the essential legislative initiatives that have guided its evolution. He has helped build and foster the growth of numerous major global companies, including, among others, America Online, Office Depot, Cadence Systems, Cellular Communications, Inc., Apple Computer, FORE Systems, NTL, IntraLinks, and Audible. He was also a founder and chairman of the board of New York magazine, which later acquired the Village Voice and New West magazine.

Alan is active in the New York and Washington communities as a board member of TechnoServe, Trickle Up Program, Global Advisory Board of Endeavor, Applied Sciences NYC Advisory Board, and the Initiative for Global Development (IGD) Leadership Council. In October 2013, Alan was appointed as a Member of the President’s Global Development Council by President Obama. From 2007 to 2012, he served two terms on the board of Millennium Challenge Corporation and, from 1993 to 1995, he served as Chairman of the White House Conference on Small Business Commission – both positions were appointed by the President of the United States. He is currently a board member of the Finance Committee of Northside Children for Child Development in Harlem and the Board of Overseers of Columbia School of Business. He is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Alan holds a BS in Finance from Ohio State University and an MBA from Columbia University Graduate School of Business.

Robert Pavlik, Chief Market Strategist, Banyan Partners

Mr. Robert G. Pavlik serves as Chief Market Strategist for Banyan Partners. He also a member of Banyan’s Investment Policy Committee and serves as the Lead Portfolio Manager of Banyan’s Moderate Core model portfolio strategy. Prior to Oaktree being acquired by Banyan, Mr. Pavlik served as Chief Investment Officer at Oaktree Asset Management. He has also served as a Vice-President of Trading for Matrix Capital prior to which he was the Vice President of Laidlaw Asset Management. Mr. Pavlik is a member of the CFA Institute, the New York Society of Securities Analyst and the Professional Risk Managers Industry Association. Mr. Pavlik is a regular guest on CNBC television, Fox Business News, Dow Jones Radio. He is regularly quoted in The Wall Street Journal and other leading financial publications. He earned an MBA from University of Bridgeport and a BS in Finance from Central Connecticut State University.

Aaron Peck, Chief Investment Officer and Chief Financial Officer, Monroe Capital Corporation

Aaron Peck is chief investment officer and chief financial officer of Monroe Capital Corporation (NASDAQ: MRCC), a publicly-traded business development company and managing director of Monroe Capital LLC, a private investment firm providing financing to middle-market companies.

Mr. Peck has over 19 years of experience in credit, lending, high yield and public company operations and investor relations. Prior to Monroe, Mr. Peck was chief investment officer at Deerfield Capital Management and was responsible for all of the investment teams at Deerfield including syndicated and middle market loan teams managing over $5 billion in assets. As well, Mr. Peck was chief portfolio manager for Deerfield’s publicly-traded specialty finance mortgage REIT and in that capacity was the key point of contact for all institutional and retail investors, investment banking research analysts, lenders and investment bankers.

Prior to Deerfield, Mr. Peck worked in leveraged credit at several investment firms including AEG Investors, Black Diamond Capital, Salomon Smith Barney, Merrill Lynch and ESL Investments.

Mr. Peck earned his M.B.A. with Honors from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Commerce from The University of Virginia, McIntire School of Commerce.

Kevin Penn, Managing Director, American Securities

Kevin S. Penn joined American Securities in 2009. Previously, Mr. Penn founded and led ACI Capital since 1995. Prior thereto, he was EVP and Chief Investment Officer for a family investment office, First Spring Corporation, where he managed private equity, direct investment and public investment portfolios. Earlier in his career, Mr. Penn was a Principal with the private equity firm Adler & Shaykin and was a founding member of the Leveraged Buyout Group at Morgan Stanley & Co. Kevin is a director of Healthy Directions, Frontier Spinning Mills, Metaldyne, HHI and Presidio, and various remaining ACI portfolio companies. Mr. Penn serves as a Board Member of Mount Sinai Hospital Department of Medicine and an Overseer of University of Pennsylvania School of Design. He received a BS degree magna cum laude in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and an MBA degree from Harvard Business School with high distinction.

Chris Perriello, Managing Director, AlpInvest Partners, Inc.

Chris Perriello joined AlpInvest Partners in 2007 from Paul Capital Investments, where he was a Principal focused on fund investing and secondary investments. Previously, he was a Principal at Invesco Private Capital responsible for evaluating both venture and LBO fund investments, as well as direct investments. At AlpInvest Partners, Mr. Periello is responsible for sourcing and evaluating secondary investment opportunities.

Mr. Periello received a BA in Economics (cum laude) from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA in Finance from Georgia Institute of Technology.

Kathryn Petralia, COO & Co-Founder, Kabbage, Inc.

Kathryn has spent the past 17 years working with both startups and established companies focused on credit, payments, technology and ecommerce. Kathryn started Kabbage along with her two co-founders in late 2008, and it has grown from 3 employees and a Power Point to over 80 employees and over 100,000 customers in just over four years. Prior to Kabbage, Kathryn was with Revolution Money, an Internet-based credit card startup based in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she was Vice President of Strategy. Before Revolution, Kathryn was a corporate development executive with CompuCredit Corporation, where she was responsible for entering new markets, product development initiatives, as well as the establishment of multiple strategic alliances. Kathryn was also one of the founders of WorthKnowing.com, a consumer financial services portal whose IP was later sold to CompuCredit and TransUnion. She holds a B.A. in English Literature from Furman University.

Michael Psaros, Co-Founder, KPS Capital Partners, LP

Michael Psaros is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of KPS Capital Partners, LP (www.kpsfund.com) and a member of its Investment Committee. KPS Capital Partners, LP is the manager of the KPS Special Situations Funds, a family of private equity limited partnerships with over $6.0 billion of assets under management focused on making controlling equity investments in companies across a diverse range of manufacturing industries experiencing a period of transition or challenged by the need to effect immediate and significant change.

KPS portfolio companies have aggregate annual revenues of over $7.0 billion, operate 93 manufacturing facilities in 26 countries, and employ approximately 37,000 associates, directly and through joint ventures worldwide.

Mr. Psaros currently serves on the Boards of Directors of the following KPS portfolio companies: American & Efird Global (Chairman), Chassis Brakes International Group (Chairman), WWRD Holdings Limited (Chairman), Expera Specialty Solutions, LLC, Heritage Home Group, LLC, International Equipment Solutions, LLC, Motor Coach Industries International, Inc., United Copper Industries, Inc. and Waupaca Foundry, Inc. Mr. Psaros previously served on the Board of Directors of 18 former KPS portfolio companies and served as Chairman of six.

Mr. Psaros received a BS in business administration from Georgetown University in 1989 and attended Sofia University in Tokyo, Japan.

Mr. Psaros and his spouse created The Robin and Michael Psaros Endowed Chair in Business Administration at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, where Mr. Psaros presently serves as Vice Chairman of the Executive Board of Advisors. He also serves on the Board of Advisors of the Georgetown University Center for Financial Markets and Policy.

Mr. Psaros is a frequent speaker on turnarounds and manufacturing, and has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Buyouts, Private Equity International, M&A Magazine, CNBC and numerous other business and financial publications.

Mr. Psaros is a member of the Church of Our Savior in Rye, New York and All Saints Greek Orthodox Church in Weirton, West Virginia.
