Allen Latta, President and CEO, Campton Group

Allen Latta is the Managing Director and CEO of Campton Private Equity Advisors. Campton provides advisory services to Private Equity Investor plc, a London-based private equity fund-of-funds that is listed on the London Stock Exchange (ticker PEQ.L). Mr. Latta's responsibilities include advising PEI on fund investments, fund monitoring and reporting, and distribution management. Prior to founding Campton in 2006, Mr. Latta was the Director, Business Development, head of the US office and a member of the Board of Directors of VenCap International plc, an Oxford, UK-based private equity fund-of-funds. Previously, Mr. Latta was a telecommunications and media investment banker at Bear, Stearns & Co. and CIBC Oppenheimer. Mr. Latta began his career as a corporate finance attorney specializing in venture capital and private equity transactions, public offerings and mergers & acquisitions.

Mr. Latta received his MBA in Finance from UCLA Anderson, his JD from UC Hastings College of Law, and his BA in Economics from UCLA. Allen is a CFA Charterholder and a CAIA Charterholder.

Chris Lawrence, Managing Director, Auda Private Equity

Chris A. Lawrence is a Managing Director at Auda Private Equity, based in New York, and is responsible for the entire spectrum of secondary investment activities. As of August 2014, he has led or participated in 34 completed secondary transactions, representing more than $305 million in total deal volume. He has 21 years of financial services and private equity related work experience, including as an intermediary, direct investor, and in various executive roles at underlying portfolio companies. Most recently, Mr. Lawrence was an operating principal for a portfolio of angel-backed companies in the healthcare, software/services, and manufacturing sectors. His responsibilities included managing all aspects of company-level senior debt, mezzanine, and equity financings. Prior to that, Mr. Lawrence served as a senior operating executive for a Warburg Pincus portfolio company and was a deal leader for a venture capital affiliate of GSC Partners.

Mr. Lawrence began his financial services career at Arthur Andersen as a Manager in the Corporate Finance Services division providing advisory services to public and privately held clients. Mr. Lawrence earned an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BBA in Accounting from Southern Methodist University.

Dennis Leary, Partner, Champlain Capital Partners

Mr. Leary is a Managing Partner and Founder of Champlain Capital (www.champlaincapital.com). Champlain is a buyout firm and active sponsor with a strong operating focus that targets companies with $3-10 million of EBITDA where we bring Fortune 500 ideas to main street companies. Champlain manages two buyout funds, the most recent of which had its first closing in April 2014. Mr. Leary has been investing for 21 years through five different funds in over 70 businesses.

Mr. Leary received a B.S. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, an M.B.A. from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Mr. Leary is also a founder and Trustee of Proof School (www.proofschool.org) which is a secondary school dedicated to mathematically gifted children. Finally, Champlain is a member of the Small Business Investor Alliance (www.sbia.org) which is the premier organization of lower middle market private equity funds and investors.

Christian Lena, Vice President, Alpha Titans

Christian Lena has more than ten years of experience as an investment professional and is responsible for client relations and business development at ALPHA TITANS, an investment advisor that specializes in sourcing alpha and managing risk by diversifying assets among dominant multi-strategy “Alpha Titans” in the hedge fund industry.

Mr. Lena's prior professional experience includes Head of Investor Relations for Aeon Capital in Santa Monica, California. He began his career in the financial markets as an equities trader for Lightspeed Trading. This fall, Mr. Lena will be earning his MSc in Global Finance, a joint graduate program offered by NYU Stern School of Business and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Mr. Lena has completed the Global Investment Risk Management Programme at the Said Business School – University of Oxford. He holds the Certificate in Quantitative Finance (Wilmott CQF) and an MBA/MHA from the University of Southern California, where he was a Merit Scholar.

Mr. Lena completed his undergraduate coursework at Fairfield University, earning a BS in Biology with a minor in Philosophy. He holds the Series 3 and Series 65 investment licenses.

Dan Lipson, Partner, Rotunda Capital Partners

Dan Lipson is a founding member and Partner of Rotunda Capital Partners. Rotunda Capital is a lower middle market private equity firm focused on minority and control equity investments in established companies operating in the logistics/distribution, financial services and business services industries.

Prior to Rotunda, Mr. Lipson served as a Principal in the Private Finance group at Allied Capital, serving as a rotating member of the Investment Committee. Prior to joining Allied, Mr. Lipson worked at GE’s Merchant Banking Group structuring senior, junior and equity investments in sponsored transactions. Prior to that, Mr. Lipson worked at GE Equity, GE’s private equity group, in the Industrial Group, executing equity investments in manufacturing and distribution companies. Mr. Lipson began his career as an investment banker at Salomon Smith Barney and State Street Capital.

Mr. Lipson earned his M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and his B.A. from Bowdoin College.

In 2014, Mr. Lipson was named Top 40 under 40 Dealmaker by the M&A Advisor.

Irwin Loud, Chief Investment Officer, Muller and Monroe Asset Management

Irwin Loud oversees the development of M2's private equity investment programs and serves on the investment committee. A private equity innovator, he previously was Senior Portfolio Manager, Private Equity Investments for the Florida State Board of Administration (FSBA), which manages the state's $110 billion pension fund. While at FSBA, Irwin played a prominent role in launching the industry's first partnership focused exclusively on private equity co-investments. He also was the architect of the formal structuring and growth of the portfolio to $3.2 billion in commitments.

Mr. Loud began his career at Chase Manhattan Bank, N.A., New York, where he served as a loan officer in the international and investment banking divisions. Mr. Loud received his BS (summa cum laude) and MBA degrees from Florida A&M University, School of Business & Industry. Mr. Loud is a member of NASP (National Association of Securities Professionals).

Caroline Lovelace, Founding Partner, Pine Street Alternative Asset Management

Caroline Lovelace is a Founding Partner of Pine Street and Co-Portfolio Manager for the Fund, responsible for sourcing, manager due diligence and manager/portfolio monitoring post-investment. Previously, Ms. Lovelace was a managing director of Provident Group Asset Management (PGAM) where she was responsible for hedge fund research, new manager selection and oversight of the due diligence process and, as her core responsibility, Ms. Lovelace contributed a significant time to performing due diligence on new managers. Ms. Lovelace has more than 15 years’ experience in global financial services including more than five in alternative investments, in hedge funds, fund of hedge funds and private equity. Prior to joining PGAM, Ms. Lovelace spent several years with J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. in New York, first in investment banking, executing mergers, acquisitions, restructurings and capital raising transactions on behalf of insurance companies. In 1998, Ms. Lovelace moved to J.P. Morgan Capital to invest in and manage a portfolio of investments in both public and private insurance and insurance services companies, including serving on the board of Directors/Advisors for several private companies. Subsequent to Morgan Capital, Ms. Lovelace sourced and structured investments in third-party private equity funds and hedge funds for clients of the J. P. Morgan Private Bank. After the Private Bank, she acted as CFO for a high-end consumer products import business in Madrid, Spain. Ms. Lovelace began her career as analyst in investment banking with UBS in London.

Ms. Lovelace holds a BA from Harvard University and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania
